Purple flower I think it's a kind of orchid...but I am not sure about it. Maybe someone can help me out with this one. With thanks to Morwyn and BJB they convinced me that this flower is Sweet Pea or Everlasting Pea: Lathyrus latifolius thanks the both of you

I like purple too, Paul...sorry I can't help you with the name...I love flowers but don't always keep track of what they are all called...anyhow these are quite lovely.:Pat.

Oh I like this picture! I took a photo of some of these same flowers...but I have to tell you that yours is much better! Mine is called "Pretty Pinks" if you havn't seen it already. I didn't know how to decide which blooms to focus on...but you did wonderfully! Great job from me! -Laurel

Hey again lol...I got the title of the photo of the similar flowers that I shot mixed up with a different title of mine! I meant "Pretty in Pink", not "Pretty Pinks". Haha, cuz the ones in "Pretty Pinks" are completely different...*sigh. It's a very blonde day for me. Shame on me for naming two pictures almost exactly the same!

I beleive this is a Sweet Pea.. I used to grow them but it has been so hot and dry they won't grow here anymore.. Lovely color on this flower.. Nice clear image..
