Last week I had to take care of the estate of a friend of mine. And walked in the forrest every day for at least 3 to 4 hours. And i was lucky...the forrest is full of mushrooms. Then i saw this one....I tried to determinate it ...but wasn't lucky till now. So maybe someone of you can help me out. Anyway i never saw this one before...and it only last for one day. You have to see this one full screen.

Looks to me like some sort of "Resinous Bolete" or "Resinous Polypore" also known as "Ischnoderma Resinosum". The liquid droplets you see is water that's exuded from it's inner tubing. Young ones start out secreting typical water eventually turning brownish to a blackish ochre when adulthood is reached. Also the white patches you see could be "Wet" or "Dry Rot". Nice find, Don't Eat!

Whatever it is, it's stunning, with those little amber-colored droplets on its cap... congratulations!

I would swear to it that those are droplets of amber resin that somehow dripped onto tis shroom. That would be so fantastic, and it would be worth for you to go back and find the amber, because it is cherished by everyone. It is a jewel of course. And you live in an area where Amber is found. Please find out if that's waht it is. It's a gorgeous photo. So magnificent. Verena
