Just call this one nr 12. I wish i could find the time to determinate the species...but I haven't got it. Maybe Christopher knows it and will help me out with this one. I just like the colors and shapes

My Mushroom Field guide has a picture of a "Psilocybes" cluster that looks like an exact match. "Tacky, Wavy Chestnut Brown cap, fading to dark yellowish toward middle, with brownish gills". The cap grows 2-4cm wide and the stalk 6-8cm long. When ingested in large quantity, they can be strongly hallucinogenic.(Very Dangerous, DO NOT TRY at home!!!). Love the moss surrounding this great find!

Incredible! A super macro that captures all the mysteries inherent in the dark forests of fables and childrens' bedtime tales. Very well done.

No sense in being pessimistic – it won't work anyway.

Dark and mysterious are these life forms and the environment in which they grow...that, and the fairly-tale like aspect to them attracts our curiosity...a great job Paul, in capturing all of that...tks for sharing this unusual example.:Pat.

I like work; it fascinates me. I can sit and look at it for hours.

Right off the bat the attention getter for me was the texture you captured. Nice rich color in this too.

probably not a P. cyanescens. it's hard to say for sure without seeing the stem, but they lighten with age, not darken, and they start out a more caramel color to begin with.
