LOL! I don't see the horizon... How can I comment on it then? That piece of wood (?) do look like it's going to fall over though... ^_^ I like the idea. Works out very nicely in grayscale too.
I did convert it to monochrome, but I added some orange (pronounce it "arnge" just this once) to kill the incredible harshness. As usual, I used a diffuse glow with a cap. :-)
i don't really mind the "horizon";) i like the lighting and the choice to make it b&w. i would like to see it with the main dark object (a board or whatever it is;) moved a bit downwards (or upwards alternatively) so that it's not halfway between the top and the bottom edge.
Nope, didn't miss a thing...unless you are talking about that 20D in the sand just to the left of the left edge of the image, but I wasn't very interested...
