Aeolus, god of the winds, seeking. This is an apparitionless version of my image Apparition with a couple other changes. I decided to let your imagination do the work for this one.

Whoah! This MUST be viewed full screen to appreciate its true awsomeness. Its pictures like these where I remember that I have a favorites gallery. The atmosphere this creates is really cool. The lighting seems very mysterious, as does the fog in the background. And is that a motion blur at the bottom and sides? Great image in all aspects.

There is motion blur applied to the leaves on the ground which makes them appear as being sucked towards that center bi-tree. I don't remember if I applied another one to the whole image in this version or not, but there are several sections with a zoom-blur applied.

This is very cool. I like this one better. Love the shadows and the spookiness of it.

I love this picture. Very gloomy and dark but it all works out to make a great feeling with the image. Very good!

I see what you were doing now. It took a few seconds to get it;. I wouldn't have looked twice at this image, but I opened it at random to offer a critique. The mood is well-built with the soft focus, the fog, the motion blur, and the cameo cutout. Oh - and the black and white which normally favors sharp borders and contrasts, but here creates a good mystical mood.

I did intend most of those tricks, but even so, you are giving me too much credit. :-)

the tree in the middle seems to hold a dangerous power... i couldn't stand to look at it for very long before being hypnotyzed.... the trees will soon take over the world!

sorry, i feel i must use humor to hide teh fact that that tree really scared me a little...
