Elegant, Posed, Beautiful yet at the same time extremely deadly. reminds me of an old Ex...Yikes! did i type that out loud?

Lol, this might be deadly but gorgeous at the same time. The pedals look like velvet with the bonus of the water droplets. Here's my shot of a Datura from the a few years back.

one flower i know well. take no doubt this type is very dangerous to your pets if they eat the seeds. also there are a number of cases in the ER around the world that some idiots try something i would rather not post...just know it was used as a poison and i believe it still is used for such reasons in Europe. from what i read...cant believe everything you read on the net. its pedals dont last long but they do retract somewhat in the sun, then open in low light, given the name "Moon flower" most gardners use as a back drop because they do get about 3feet high. after the pedals drop they form a spike like ball that spilts open to drop the seeds.
