Bit odd for this to appear in the parts i live this soon. was a warm welcome day with some morels found as well. nonetheless surely spring has sprung now.

to all my friends at Ceades:

Im still around and shooting, editing and hopefully improving. had to take a break and under go eye surgery on both my eyes and things seem to need an adjustment period. I'm very uncertain when i do shoot and editing that has left me at some what a disadvantage in confidence for now. yet at the same time? maybe this whole new world to look forward to...seen again in a different light. as was the same when i picked up the camera and photography. im not sure if posting style will change or stay the same. for now i just need to keep it simple. its not easy getting to know a sense you once had is now altered.

however, as with everything else in life...i will adapt! just a standard procedure im sure many of you have gone through. yet at the same time...what god gives you isn't the same as now man-made to work the same. both lenses in my eyes are now new ones. rest assure the twisted brain is still the same. :)

Enjoy!

Thanks for both this fine image and your informing narrative, Chris.

It's very clear to me that in these condition someone is very uncertain. Hope therefore, from the bottom of my heart, that the eye surgery will be permanently successful, so that you're feeling better and are able to show us your photographic and editing skills in the future as well.
Wish you all the best, my friend!

Nice shot Sty of the yellow swallowtail - I saw my first one yesterday here in New Jersey - he was an early arrival - my azalea is in bloom and I think he was looking for some nectar - Great Capture!!!!!!!

Nice to see you again - cataract surgery can certainly take some getting used to - I've had one eye done but not the other yet. This is really nicely done with fine detail on the butterfly and color seems spot-on.

Really great post Sty. According to this image it looks like your mending very well. My wife had cataract surgery a little while back and she's doing fine. Now she really knows what I look like.
