Well welcome back! :) what I really like about this shot besides the wonderful color, is the look of the water, and that reflection of that tree. Kudos Sty, and I'm glad to see you back. tigs=^..^=

Now that is very cool and unexpected. I'm surprised the tree hasn't died from inundation by the stream; the water must never rise above the level we see here. It appears (if one is very careful) that a person could actually use the stones on the left to walk out there. So is there a small door on the other side? And a little man in the doorway? And does he make cookies?

Well hi'ya, Trouble! :) Hope life's been treating you well.

Enchanted and enchanting! Great shot of a beautiful, wise old tree. And a climbing tree, at that! Love that tumbled tangle of braided roots. They must have a deep grip in the earth. I hope that it will continue to thrive for lifetimes to come.

Welcome back, Chris.

Thought by viewing your very fine image that you had a trip to one of the jungles of Africa, but have read in your narrative that it was taken near Kalamazoo ☺ .

Very fine shot!
