wicked day while out shooting, trying to stay ahead of the storm on my way to a location called "The Ledges". was a sight to see! pictures dont do it justice.

A nasty looking critter for sure, but, I believe, nothing in nature has more character. It almost looks alive; if you look close enough I think there's a face in there.

Man is this ever threatening, and I like the composition, lines with that huge cloud. I'm looking forward to seeing this place next year. tigs=^..^=

I've seen many severe weather situations, Chris, so no one has to tell me that this situation is very threatening and/or tricky.
Hope that you've found a suitable shelter on time. If not, I'm pretty sure the you've got at least soaking wet.

Wow, I wish we got clouds like that... that I get to see, anyway. :-) The colours are very 'mother-of-pearl'.
