Thought i might revisit this one, yes its the same one i used in Pitched Window so it does look familiar. never was much clarity to make it a good picture, great for a joke in PS and maybe now a painting.

Nope! no HDR software was used for this one, this one was all done by hand. those that have been editing awhile will know exactly what i mean. not to meantion a daunting task it can be! lot and lots of hours with different brushes...over and over! the way it use to be done.

Are you sure that you haven't provided us with an upside-down image, Chris? ( ☺ ☺ ☺ ! )

That's an interesting idea... hmm... you've got me thinking now.
The colours are bright and I like the gold tree in the water. Good work!

an upside down shot? MR C. its not above or below me to do so. i doubt this on was one of them, i have had this tuck away for some time. i might have even posted it and then took it down because it got no responce back then...idk. i do have many of this bridge and the reflections it gives? are unreal! you dont have to flip it. its on a pond with no river. even on a not so calm day, the reflection is there, morning to mid day. i did crop out the sky and replaced it with another brushed in on the water...yup! thats fake.

now see all the white spots in the water? thats cotton wood seed from the trees here. now that i wouldnt have taken the time. so a flip? i seriously doubt it

The composition is really great. I think it is nice with little woodland and majority water. If any is fake I just didn't catch it. Good job Chris.

When I first looked at it I thought I'd seen it before, Chris, and not just in that link you provided. It's those triangular windows. If it wasn't you that submitted it then it was someone else here at Caedes. I've had to deal with ultra-white skies, particularly recently with the smoke haze from wildfires in states west of me. The reflections here and the bridge are clearly the important elements so you did very well in enhancing them for us.
