Wonderfully good capture and such a magical place. I bet you were having a great time there. Probably hard to choose what picture to display here cause I'm figuring you must have taken a lot of them. I would have.

this place is amazing and beautiful with color after it rains, beyond words! then you can walk 100 yrds and have the gorge complete change in color. its kind of eerie to be honest. (old mans cave hocking hills, Ohio) then the story around the history of it, glad i didnt know it til after the fact. its one very dangerous place in the fall with rain especial, slip? your dead! experience hiker fell to his death there while were down there staying.

I'm guessing that much of that saturation isn't saturation at all. Mother Nature and this planet in general often provide us with stunning vistas of brilliant color, so extreme it looks unreal--I myself have come across images that make me shake my head in wonder, at nature's capacity and my luck in being there. Luckily for us we have Chris to see and capture some of those scenes, providing them to us on Caedes. For myself, I have a particular fondness for waterfalls, and this image makes me daydream of setting up a video camera, right at this spot, and capturing an hour of this sight and sound, then looping it on a wall-size group of monitors. Can you imagine the peace one would feel in a room like that? Not being rich, however, I settle happily for Chris's fine capture on a single monitor, in my office... a place not necessarily conducive to peace but this image will make up for that. Thank you, again, Chris.

Thank You! Nik. when you're pleased its quite the compliment.

I'm very humble and feel so small when mother nature opens up around me with just the right light to splash color all over my image sensor. sure this was edited but if your ever at this location? you'll be blown away!
