I like when I have to place a post in "General" just because there's no gallery listed for it..lol Seriously, what are you going to put a frozen soap bubble under?
This was a lot harder then I thought it would be. temps around 5 above to -10 out side and no wind! and you have to work fast, not to mention a bunch of other things to consider in terms of acclimating, soap bubble, tools used, camera so you dont damage it ect... then wait for the right weather as the sun comes up. you got but a few trys with bare skin exposed using your hands, little hard to do with gloves on. I think Im done with this subject.

Another beautiful capture, well executed because of your know-how, timing, and hardiness in such temps...especially like the frosty pattern on the bubble and how we can see thru a part of it...comparing all three, however, I think I still like number two the best.

I sent number two to the local paper here when it was really cold, something about even having fun in the cold" wrote an article and sent the pic as well, it made the front page. The Exponent" its called here in Brooklyn Mi, they have a FB page with archives. a lot of mine make the paper, Key word "Chris or Christopher Crowley" it will be easily found. theres your challenge Les to win more cookies...lol but you must find all of them that I have posted here as well...the clock is ticking!

Actually, while 1 and 2 have more color (shot earlier?), I think I like this one better. It has much better defined sprays of frost on the bubble's surface, just like what I usually see on our windows in the wintertime. Yeah. #3 [which, in the vernacular of childhood, is #1 and #2, simultaneously ;o].
