Since they are two I would clean one thoroughly leaving the other as it is and shoot again ...
How about it ?
I would love to see the foreground one shining and clean and the other foggy and old looking ...
Very interesting discovery !!!

Really very interesting. We used them quite a few times when I was younger. They work quite well.

Life's moments are sweet. I just want to capture all that I can of them.

Votre grand-mère doit être très très vieille à voir l'état de vos fanals...Grande époque les années 1930....que de souvenirs ces fanals portent sous leur poussière

I'm sure they're still workable..I'd love to see them all cleaned up and shining with light once again. :)PJ

These are wonderful for when the power is out. Just don't try blowing the dust off of them or you'll get an eyeful.

You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being. - Hermes

A lovely still life - I was going to say perhaps you could throw some light on this for me? But I am only too aware of what these are! Lucky you not having power cuts - especially in the winter!
Sensitively taken, soft approach but clear and sharp. Leave them as they are and revisit in a couple of years?

Those look like they have been untouched for a hundred years. Great photo and I like Marzenas idea.
