This is an old bridge that used to go out to Boblo Island in Amherstburg, Ontario. It hasn't been used for many years. I think the effect may be a little much, but I hope everyone else thinks differently!

I like the effort. The very stark black and white and angle create a visually challenging image. It is a geometric image that makes one work to understand it. I get a mood of a light but forgotten place. Nice work. How did you get the streaking effect I see in the upper left of the image?

This has excellent lines of perspective. What a gift. Good choice for B&W.

An interesting combination of textures and an different angle. It does make you pause to figure out what you are looking at.

A very different approach to that scene. Applied texture results big black areas have low contrast and look good. If crossing point of perspective lines were on one thirds place composition would be better.

I like the angle too. Very bold idea that makes the viewer pause for a moment to come to terms with the subject. Slight areas of over exposure but not bad. I like the way the top of the fence and the shadow on the floor make a vertical line where all else is at an angle. I guess you added the texture for interest. My own personal preference would be to use the existing light and shadows to keep the interest. Without seeing the original it is difficult to make a value call, but I think the image would have stood up without the texture. Nicely imaginative.
