Tulips are tulips but I snapped these while on a business trip in Bern, Switzerland so these were a little extra special to me. Perhaps my post is out of season given that we're headed into autumn, but this may provide a little warmth to someone when they need it.

I like how the the B/W makes you focus on the depth of the picture and the texture as well. I think that the background may be a little distracting but that is just my opinion. Good shot nonetheless.

I agree with rriesop, I really do think the black and white brings out the texture of the tulips. Very nice shot!
