LOTS more than ten green bottles - old medicine bottle collection in a small rural museum. I love the contrast between the blue "poison" bottles in the foreground and also the lonely red one on the left hand side. Might make a good pic for the comp.

Some people are like slinkies, not good for anything but will give you a good laugh when you push them down the stairs. :)
I gave this one a 7 in the booth because although it is a bit soft in focus, it has good patterning, color, and interest. Prior to submitting, though, I would have suggested either cropping or cloning out the label and shelf edge on the bottom. The inclusion of those two indicate that this is an exhibit, pigeon-holing it into a single category. The image without those two features moves it closer to being art and adaptable for much more. Just a thought.

Thanks for your advice Nik - the soft focus is because the bottles were inside a glass cabinet and I certainly take on board your other comments. Thanks for taking the time to write.

I like it very much. Interesting and original. I agree, the contrasts of color, especially the blue and red one amidst the sea of green add a extra element of interest. I also agree with Nik about taking out the exhibit card. Maybe rotate the photo just a bit and take out both the card and part of the empty right side....all the way to the reflection in the upper right. Saved to explore more!

I like the almost ethereal look that is helped by the slight reflection in the glass of the cabinet. This is a super array of bottles - and I think a very worthy and unique entry in the contest :)
