I would imagine this is for the contest Sue. I like the perspective. I feel like I can throw the lever whenever I want to start the wheel turning.

In case you are unawares.. Perspective Contest.


My curiosity got the better of me, hope you don't mind..

Was pondering how things would look/change.. in terms of visual impact, if your photo was 'straightened'.

With the thought in the back of my mind that the upper left could possibly be cropped out. Keeping the image a tad more simpler, and keeping to just (or, more so) that of the lines of the supporting cables and the structure itself.. and the patterns that emerge (concentric circles, radiating lines, etc.).

So..

Here is "Under the Big Wheel" - Straightened and Cropped Some.

There is still some perspective distortion, but, mitigated by straightening.

Whacha fink?

That silliness and nonsense of mine aside (outside of some creative food for thought with respect to composition)..

Good good shot.

Clarity and focus are good good, as well.

Colours, natural.. and well done to you and your camera on the note of the red(s).


Caught my eye, in and amongst the new images.. so ... mission accomplished.
