Yeah, I agree. The depth of field makes the stark contrast between the dead leaves and the harsh concrete seem all the more desolate. It could be accompanied by a Simon and Garfunkle song about the harsh, lonely city.

unusual subject...because of the colors and te pattern of the leaves...it gets a sort of religious atmosphere..at least thats what i feel.
