I really like the warmth of this. The glowing gold is very effective and the combination of soft, gently blurred lines with the crisp, well-defined ones is especially striking. It reminds me of some sort of architecture - archways and cobbled streets, perhaps, in the days before electric light. Maybe this is dawn or dusk or the light of a fire plus many candles... All right, probably fairly cold and damp and the light would flicker and die, but the idea of it is quite nice by the light of my electric lamp!

Happy New Year!

You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being. - Hermes

In the thumbnail, I saw two dancers. This abstract really is about the spirit and celebration of joy. Beautiful, Lori!

I see this one as warm and uplifting in two different scenarios, the red shape being a human figure in both. As "Spirit of the Dance," I see the red shape as a dancer, in whatever style imaginable, ballet, interpretive, etc. Their strength, training, determination, and love of motion and emotion erupts from them as they first touch the dance floor. As "Angel's Self-Discovery," I see an ordinary person, giving completely of themselves for the benefit of another, with no expectation of compensation of any kind, realizing the joy of doing something wondrous for someone else as they take that final step that makes all the difference for the recipient of their good deed. My favorites file is getting rather thick with your talent. Thanks.

The first rule is: Remove the lens cap! The second rule is: Always take a litter bag in your car - if it gets full, you can just throw it out the window.
