I apologize for my absence here lately, but work has kept me very busy. I managed a bit of Apop playtime this weekend and came up with this. I hope to get back to viewing recent uploads and commenting soon. Thanks for all the views :) Created in Apop and post-work in Photofiltre. Lori

I am lucking out tonight. Your galleries Lori are the second that I decided to take a peek in on since my last visit(s).

First, no worries on the commenting/viewing front from me. Sincerely. Time, opportunity and inclination permitting ... when you are able. Now then ... your flame.

Liked this image immediately and the more time I spend viewing and absorbing it, taking in it's facets ... really, really nice work.

Colour palette is gorgeous. But, you know that. :o)

Where the highlights fall? Most judicious placement with the gradient and post work. Besides adding the 'pop' factor, they serve to increase the perception of depth of your flame.

Glad you found some time to play. Here's to work easing a bit for you and to that, I shall raise a properly chilled glass of milk and ...

;o)

And but of course, thank you for sharing this one with us.

Yeah, nice work. :o)

Well Miss Tea, this is a wonderful flame to come back in on. As Les said, the gradient is perfect - the yellows, organges and greens go oddly well together. Great job MT

This is the first time I've gotten to see this: computer woes, but it's amazing.

I never got to vote on it in the voting booth either, but I certainly would give it a ten...excellent work.
