Also commonly known as the Poinsettia. Created in Apo 2.08beta2, and post work done in PS CS2. The render came out kind of pale and I applied Nigel's (nigelmoore) Photoshop recipe for "Punching Up Drab Colour", found on his Photoshop-aholic thread . There are lots of other great techniques that members have posted. Why not have a look. Thanks Nigel for sharing your PS tips :) Comments/critiques are most welcomed. I would especially like to know if you feel it's too saturated, as I'm beginning to think I need to calibrate my monitor. Thanks for stopping by! ~Lori

Definitely not too saturated. Such a gleefully beautiful creation, Lori. I like the designs that fall within the petals of the larger flower. Just the perfect gradient for this lovely too. You have such mastery of this craft.

Ohhhhhh Lori! you are SO right! I love this and it would for sure make a more gorgeous silk scarf. I wish I knew how to do
something to make one. I think you ought to find a company and
present this to them. This is just magnificent my friend!! I will love this on my desktop, but it deserves something so much nicer. Even a knitted design would be great. The way you brought together the pinks and greens, its just awesome. I think I will try to knit a scarf with these colours. Thank you so much for a wonderful creation. Verena
