My first entry for Dylan's Apophysis Contest . No post-work, plugins, or scripts other than the script provided. This reminded me of a Slinky, hence the name. It works just as well rotated 180deg. Well, this is just so beautiful.The purple like color is so nice and the silky smooth texture is outstanding.The light that you created is excellent and sets everything off so very well.You have created something very special here.My desktop and a favorite!!!!

How in the world do you make these things look 3-D, alive, and make of formed mylar? It reminds me of some deep-sea creature, alive with phosphorescence. Very cool. I can see why it placed in the contest.
