Why do the pictures come out square when the lens is round??

I really like them both, I guess it would depend on my mood, I think they both would make great desk tops. I the colors in this one is more summer like and calm, the other one is bold and full of energy. Great work.

I really like any kind of 'relief' or embossed images and this one is outstanding Lori!! Elegant and lovely piece:)

Wow, it doesn't look like the same image at all -- I had to click your link to remind myself what the first one looked like. I agree with Joanie, it's incredibly soft and very 3D. It feels as though I could pick it up off the screen and it'll turn out to be a filmy caterpillar and not a fractal at all. "It's Alive, Igor... It's Alive! Where's my lab coat?" Plus the red and blue gradient gives it added dimension the same way the white to black does in your Astrophysics 2, and the fine lines you have coming off the ends of the semi-circles remind me of the minute ripples in pond water when a water spider or skimmer walks across the surface, creating ultra-tiny waves. Bueno. Bueno.
