"October's poplars are flaming torches lighting the way to winter. ~Nova Bair"

This kind of reminded me of glowing, crackling embers in a fire. Hope you enjoy! Lots of room for left side icons :) Comments are always welcome and appreciated. Thanks for looking my friends! Lori

I love the deep orange fading into yellow and the sharp corners all around. The skeletal structure of the black lends a nice depth and dimension to it as well.

Long ago, while in college, I took a photo of the interior structure of a long railroad bridge, with the supports leading the eye into the distance in perfect perspective view. That vertical line of structures towards the right side of this image reminds of that bridge. I also like how you are able to switch the acuity on your eye's focus to make the left side appear once as a black framework over the colors and another time as separate segments of an image floating in a void, the segments even having a lit edge as from a light source from the top of the frame. I do like this one but it seems a little soft to me in the enlargement. This type of structure (regarding the black lines) would lend itself better to crisp edges. Thanks for sharing it, Lori.

So pretty, Lori. I can't decide if you've got a stained glass representation of a fire, or of a wind-swept swirl of leaves, complete with sunset shining through to show off the delicate tracery of veins.
Uh-oh, now you've got me feeling poetic, lol.
Just plain lovely is what this is!

Hmmm... Lovely flame, I like what the colors are doing in it and what the emboss does to this piece as a stand-alone work. I'm not sure, however, that this effect makes a nice DT: it's too... aggressive? Too sharp, I think. Makes me stare at it and forget that I have icons to use! :)
