"I pick the prettiest part of the sky and I melt into the wing and then into the air, till I'm just soul on a sunbeam." ~Richard Bach

Yet, another exploration into minimalism. I especially like how this one turned out, and I hope you do too! Comments / critiques are most welcome. Best viewed full screen. Thanks in advance for all the views and comments my friends!

That one would look great behind a sofa in an appropriately color accented/designed living room...seriously...Hey a living room is "minimal"...especially if you use your own flair...Nice creation...Favs...

This really is lovely. I don't usually like pix that aren't strictly photographs, but this one is getting faved!!! This actually reminded me of a kinetic sculpture I saw at Boston's Museum of Science, Machine with 23 Scraps of Paper by Arthur Ganson. Both your picture and this sculpture take a minimalist approach to capture something of the beauty of flight. Very well done.

Now THIS I LOVE!!! I love simple things so very much, and this is just perfect. It's a gorgeous abstract feeling and yet so very whimsical. I would love this framed and hung at a special spot. Thoreau says "Simplicy is Elegance" and this creation of yours is definitely elegant!! Bravo my friend. Verena

I really like this one as a black & white. It's uncomplicated but the elements here are quite strong: the sweeping curve vs. the sharp short bend at the beginning of those "fans," the strength and solidity of the "fans' vs. the delicate and soft feather-like curves coming off the bottom of the "fans," and of course the positive and negative areas created by the stark black and white. Those "fans," where the curve stops abruptly and changes direction and thickness, remind me of chrome detailing and grills on classic cars of the 40's and 50's. Each whole line however, bring to mind watching birds who fly as though they were riding waves, rising and falling in graceful sweeping motions. If there is ever a contest titled "Elegance," this would certainly be a candidate.

The first rule is: Remove the lens cap! The second rule is: Always take a litter bag in your car - if it gets full, you can just throw it out the window.
