I decided to apply a lacquer finish and framing to this one. Hope you enjoy! Comments / critiques are most welcome and appreciated. Thanks for stopping by! :) Lori
Absolutely gorgeous ... it does have a scorching sun feel to it ... I'm actually thinking of the time I spent in the Southwest for awhile. Very hot indeed. Love the effect the lacquer created. Beautifully framed too. Excellent work Lori.
Wow! You really do some fine images, Lori. You know so many styles and programs that you can use to put together such amazingly beautiful images. Faved.
I really love the design and pattern here but for some reason the outer edges being a bit ruff- is that due to the 'lacquer' finish-is not "clean" enough for me; and you did make this for me didn't you Lori:):) The green I feel would blend better if it was a shade of blue which would compliment the orange IMHO:):) Otherwise a very pretty creation Lori:):)
The shade must be from that spiral palm I'm laying under, on the right there, and my brain is frying from the heat so I only see the sun as a kaleidoscope of bright orange lights, right? And I'm seeing it all through the ancient leaded glass of the Florida chapel I fell asleep in, right? But any moment now I'm going to wake up and find myself at home with a raging blizzard blowing outside, right? Or am I the only one who remembers that Twilight Zone episode, "The Midnight Sun"? Am I going to put this one in my favorites file? Right.
The first rule is: Remove the lens cap!
The second rule is: Always take a litter bag in your car - if it gets full, you can just throw it out the window.
