A palm tree with flair Lori:) Your adaptation is fitting for this wonderful creation.Very unique I might add. The green fronds go nicely with the other bulbous thingy!:):):) or wahtever you call it:):) COOL!!!
This looks like etched gold! This is truly an artists delight. This creation of yours really shows just how your imagination works. Very beautiful colours. Very whimsical. They way one colour marries into another is very special. I liked the name, and interesting write up at that website. Appropriate too. V
This really does look like a kokopelli headdress, with swirling shapes representing feathers. Almost as though Pablo Picasso had tried his hand at one of these Hopi figures. There you go again, recreating another master's work. That being the case, I see that curved green shape at the bottom as the flute. A real dynamic piece, Lori, with bright colors and contrast, just like you see on the dolls themselves.
The first rule is: Remove the lens cap!
The second rule is: Always take a litter bag in your car - if it gets full, you can just throw it out the window.
