I thought I would try my hand at the pen tool in Photoshop, and this is what I came up with. Thanks to Nathan for helping me figure out how to insert the pieces. The inserts are all pieces of my fractals. Comments and critiques are welcome and most appreciated. Thanks for looking everyone! :) Lori

I find her very interesting. Like a female pipe piper. As she plays, I feel the need to follow her and can only pray she is not leading me to the sea. Lori, you have crossed a line and will continue a journey which will give you so much pleasure and will give us fantastic art to view.

Lori, clean up the pen tool paths some ... perhaps, render larger and resample down? ... and your piece is readily elevated to that of excellent to my eyes (my humble ... and omnipotent opinion, of course :oP).

So, I hope you don't mind my assigning a grade of B+ ... for now. ;o)

Kidding a bit in the above, for a first time try?

Incredible work. Very creative and your choices of flame inserts? Most apt, in terms of colour palette, et al.

Good ... good ... gooooooooooooood ... stuff.

Thanks for sharing your creativity with us. :o)

p.s. Can't wait to see more from you on this new creative note. :o))

Okay, I love this one, I really do, but I'm going to give you my wife's reaction (a children's librarian): "Oh, wow. Now THIS one I could easily see in a book. It's awesome. Kid's would look at this one all day long! Wow!" I think it also appeals to her, as it does to me, because it reminds us of appliqued quilting... and stained glass. Simply gorgeous, Lori. Saved and Faved!!!
