Hummm...I don't know about the coloring here. Did you do anything to this? I put it in photoshop and simply hit the Auto Fix button. That changed the coloring to a more vivid but natural render. Then, I tried just the Auto Color button and I liked that even better. Now that, is a sunrise. Your capture of the bird in flight at that particulat moment is beautiful. Good capture. I just think the coloring needed reworking.

Amazing shot, which I could easily call an array of light and color. So romantic and moving - it is like a poem. I bet I could stay on the beach till it becomes completely dark. Congratulations.
Beautiful photo!! Having spent most of my life in New England, and having experienced many gorgeous sunrises and sunsets at the shore, I'm speculating that the coloring is here is "au naturel".
I love this capture, particularly with the seagull circling overhead. Nicely done, and thanks once again - photos like this really lift my spirits!
Psalm 91
1 He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty.
2 I will say of Yahweh, "He is my refuge and my fortress; my God, in whom I trust."
3 For he will deliver you from the snare of the fowler, and from the deadly pestilence.
4 He will cover you with his feathers. Under his wings you will take refuge. His faithfulness is your shield and rampart.
5 You shall not be afraid of the terror by night, nor of the arrow that flies by day;
6 nor of the pestilence that walks in darkness, nor of the destruction that wastes at noonday.
7 A thousand may fall at your side, and ten thousand at your right hand; but it will not come near you.....
Hi Ted, I have to agree with Patandre in the fact that the colour is slightly unusual. But that is no crticism, because I have a history with this picture, that being that it was one of the first ever pics I saved from this site and used as a pc desktop! This was also a long time before I joined the site and became an active member. If I had to pick a top ten of my favourite shots ever, this would be in it! Superb work!
Actually I did nothing to the color. It was a zoomed photo and my camera settings are set to normal. Caedes has many photos that are inspiring. Now that I have a 60 inch plasma, looking at my saved Caedes and personal photos is a thrill.
