Photo from 1973. The T-37 is now in the boneyard as of last July. A great airplane to fly.

Lose the vignette framing. Or, simplify it. And ...

Convert to mono/B & W.

Think the above suggestion of conversion would fit the creative bill just ... so.

In my humble opinion, of course.

Any grain and/or noise ... I don't see as a detractor, personally. In fact, I believe/think ... it would add some value along nostalgic lines.

Thanks for sharing this agile wonder of the sky with us. (Wow, 30+ years ago. A -mazing.)

I really like the effects but would love to see more of the plane clearer.
