You really captured that night's glow from peach to purple. I've seen lots of photos of these blockhouses but not like this one. Even though I know full well what it is, upon first opening it, it reminded me of some Japanese character illustrations I'd seen years ago... some fat little guy with his arms spread and his hands barely poking out of his kimono, as though he were attempting to fly. He's even wearing a conical rice hat to make him aerodynamic.
