Civil War reenactors take their roles very seriously. Everything they wear is to original standards. Nothing new is allowed. They can be rag-tagged soldiers or well dressed officers. They do their studies to act the way the people did in those days.

They are celebrating the Quintessential of the Civil War this year Ted. I think the surrender date was celebrated April 9th.
There will be a lot of reenactments this year.
