This is part of the armour plating on a WWl artillery piece. Who knows what kinds of death and destruction this thing wrought and I felt that the stillness and the depth of the shadows were in real contrast to that. Full screen recommended - Thank you for any comments or critiques -

I think a touch more clarity would have been better, but the image works well and the rivets and shadows are quite abstract in form.
