This was taken the day after our first big snow storm at good old Iowa State University (Ames, IA). I was lucky enough to get out of class early and had my camera with me. I hope you enjoy this wintery scene. Please leave comments. I love to hear what you think. Good or bad. Enjoy!

Sit there untill March so you can catch Spring's first green, and then again till October for whatever Fall foliage we might get. I'll drive by every now and then and bring you a samich, so don't wonder off. I'll go ahead and tell you great shot on this one now, in case you, you know, freeze waitin for March.

But words are things, and a small drop of ink, falling, like dew, upon a thought produces that which makes thousands, perhaps millions think and smile. Art is everywhere, except it has to pass through a creative mind.

This would be a 10 except my eye keeps getting drawn to the bit of snow in the bottom right corner. It sort of closes in a shot that would otherwise seem much more open. Still gets a 9 from me though, very beautiful and nothing I get to see down here in Florida :)

I just love this picture. I am going to try to figure out how to use it as wall paper. I live on a lake in Illinois and this could be our lake. My daughter went to Iowa State, so it has additional meaning. thank you!!!

The simplicity of the colours and composition make this a beautiful scene that you could look at for a long time without getting tired of it. Very well done.
