The sun looks vey hot, but the tempature in the city was below 60 degrees.

I have to put my shades on to look at this. Man, that is some bright sun. You got some lens flare in there, but I guess that would be expected to get this kind of shot.

I think the lens flare adds to the photo which otherwise is just a tree and the top of a house. It needs better framing and is quite washed out, probably why it has a low CI. A good idea, but not an easy one to execute and keep that feeling of bright sun.

I think your idea is interesting, the house top doesn't add anything. Perhaps a park or city street would give a sense of place or setting. :)
