I was at my mom's house, playing around with the new digital camera my girlfriend bought me, and I saw these willing subjects. Thanks mom (phasmid!) for helping me set this up and showing me the basics!

Very nice! I think the composition is cool, it makes the scene look animated rather than posed. This shot is also invokes a happy feeling, which is always welcome! Diane

Ah, I got this in Voting Booth the other day and gave it a high score. Now I got it again in Comment Request and I'm glad because I wanted to drop a comment before but forgot.

I really like this shot. It's uniquely different, composition is excellent and the DOF, which puts the focus on the two snowmen in the background, likewise. All aspects of the image work very well in carrying many different emotions.

The only two areas where I think improvement is possible, is lighting/colours (white could be more white) and noise control (there's more noise than is necessary). Although on the other hand those two features make the image feel "warmer", so perhaps there's no reason to change anything!

Overall this is an excellent piece despite the relatively low c-index. Good work!

^^^ What he said ^^^ .

Kidding a little, but Miran certainly summed up my thoughts.

I like it as well.

Welcome to Caedes. :o)

Not bad. Maybe just a little more light in front is needed
