These were very shy birds; flying away every time I tried to sneak out and get a picture. I finally sniped them from the second floor open window.

I like it. With just snow and the birds it might have stood out a little more, but i understand the enviornment doesn't change just for good pictures! Keep up the good work!

Well done. I like the clarity in this shot; it's somehow intimate in the way the view is so close to the ground and the birds. The white snow adds a good bit of contrast.

Life... is like a grapefruit. It's orange and squishy, and has a few pips in it, and some folks have half a one for breakfast.
Good job. I'm glad you snuck the picture without them knowing it. I think it's just perfect the way it is. :)

I love the splash of blue, and the rough texture of the leaf litter, contrasting with the blurry white of the snow. Funny how Jays are so agressive, and yet so skiddish too. This is just a beautiful picture, especially in its rarity. Thanks for sharing!
