It was a really hot day in Kingston Ont. This pub was nice cool change after the heat .. with thick limestone block walls.

Russell, nice capture, very moody. Makes me want to put on my fedora and head there for a cool one. Jas

This is excellent - I really like how you did this. I am a fan of light invading dark in pictures, and this one really has a mood to it, wow.

Had this in the Voting Booth and felt compelled to pay your image a visit.

Powerful. I really enjoy the 'depth' of images like this. Mood? Ambiance? In spades ... in spades.

Truthfully, your narrative does not quite ... quite set the stage for your shot here. This is a much more interpretative image for me ... and needs no introduction. It tells a story at a mere glance ... and that ... really is powerful.

Technically, I also think it merits as much high praise as its' artistic qualities. Really well done.

Lucky me ... +fav. :o) And I must add ... thank you for sharing this one.

This is a really fantastic image. The lighting and textures are superb. It's really hard (for me) to compose lighting, and I think this is a picture I could actually learn a lot from.

Fantastic lighting and shadows in your photo. They create a nice moody atmosphere in your shot. Very nicely done and presented.
