Fall colours are fading into November grays.

No sun - no moon!
No morn - no noon -
No dawn - no dusk - no proper time of day.
No warmth, no cheerfulness, no healthful ease,
No comfortable feel in any member -
No shade, no shine, no butterflies, no bees,
No fruits, no flowers, no leaves, no birds! -
November!
- Thomas Hood

Such a nice capture! I love the poem too. I had never seen it. It is so appropriate for this time of year, isn't it? I'm feeling so blah and not interested in taking pictures.

Very true Russell, but they're fading beautifully at least. Gorgeous shot. Straight into my faves.

OMG....even the leaf is turned on its face...that poem..where in the world did you get that? It fits my mood exactly today. And, well, just about even dreary November day. I actually get so sick of the "blahness" of late fall that I look forward to the snow...I'm saving this one so I can pull it out and realize that I'm not the only one that's got a hand on this oar. :)PJ
