Love the simplicity of this image. Especially how you also captured some of the falling snowflakes in sharp focus. My hat is off to you.

Beautiful!!! At least you and PJ took pictures. I looked out the window that morning and saw how windy it was and went back to bed!

Ahh ahhh so beautiful..thanks, Russell. I take full responsibility for my actions with pleasure if this is the type of result it nets..*smiles* I feel like the white rabbit...I'm late ....I'm late, but in this case I'm glad I opened this up to see what I could see :) I actually saw this in the voting booth first, and, yes, you guessed it...I gave it a 10. You're right. This is definitely my kind of shot and you did it so well. I'm going to have to start thinking macro more when I see the lovely snow scenes. I tend to see a scene and just get carried way with the large picture instead of focusing on a subject. Excellent work and on my hard drive to be enjoyed over and over.

You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being. - Hermes
