Great shot! They look really menacing. The one on the left looks like he really has it in for you. Maybe they are camera shy. The background looks very interesting. Is it something painted on a wall?

I see what you mean about hanging out at city hall... they look brutal. The photo though, is excellent!!

I just met these mean looking seagulls in the VB:)...really an excellent capture with perfect detail and dof

Well, since everything belongs to them, they have to be on guard all the time!! I'm wondering what's in the background here as well..interesting and so well taken.

I've taken my share of gull shots. none of them are half this good. excellent expressions on these two.

All of your city birds are great Russell- I especially like this one - I can almost hear their screech, and once again I am intrigued by the difference in 'your' gulls and 'our' gulls. I have yet to see one with yellow feet here.
A fine shot, and brings a smile as well,always a bonus :)

I have a comment on gulls. I was relaxing on the beach in FL, visiting with my Dad. I had a bagel in my hand and a gull dove down and snatch it out of my hand. My Dad of course found it to be extremely funny. After the fact, the gulls were cawing, sounded like laughing!
