So many so-called "close-up" shots I see have only a small portion of the photo in sharp focus. The depth of field on this one is near perfect with the entire bird and the surrounding dried berries standing out clearly. I could easily see this one published in a bird book.
This image just came up on the main page...amazing shot! The setting is exquisite with the twigs and berries. I've tried to capture these birds, and they won't stay still for me! lol
