A nice noir'ish alley way in downtown Toronto .. with mysterious characters. Queue the saxaphone!

Being a Torontonian I had to zero in on this one...nice b/w and I like the mistiness and air of mystery as to what these 'characters' are up to.

A great shot and cool in B&W. Wonderful perspective as well.

Spend a few minutes each day being grateful for what you have and who you have to share it with.

Love this shot, Russ.

And as I usually do, opened your image here full size view (beyond that of the 'recommended' viewing size suggested by the site).. came across a few interesting crops.

Which..

I think is a testament to how much is contained within frame (i.e. upper section that is almost a high key image unto itself, balcony in right thirds) ... despite it's seeming simplicity.

The changes in lighting and control of exposure elevate this one.

Plenty of detail in both; highlights and shadows.

Great range of tonalities, as well.

+favs for me.

And but of course, thank you for sharing this one with us.
