An instant desktop indeed, and an instant 10/10 as well. This is an awesome creation -- have you considered doing a tutorial on Fraxplorer (which some of us still haven't figured out)??
This is a fantastic fractal! I love the colors! You would think that with so many different colors that it would be an overload. But you've done really well keeping them muted just enough. I agree with Sam that it has a very organic feel. This is one for my favorites. 10/10
Thanks... I don't know if I'm qualified to give a tutorial... I've had it sitting in my plug-ins for about a year, and wasn't all that impressed with the fractals I was getting. Until the other day I started playing around with the styles and the sliders... Suffice it to say it seems like, with many of the fractal styles, moving the sliders around about 80% of their range will not have much effect... But in certain combinations, zang! You get something really cool. This one was done with the "Thread" Frax Style, with the thread color white, and both the sliders turned up to the maximum. After generating it, with this one I believe I laid a radial graident over the image with the center placed on the center of the main spiral, and then changed the layer from normal to "difference" or "hue", I'm not sure which. I still haven't figured out how to effectively play with the gradients in Fraxplorer.. it's kind of counter-intuitive and different from the way you edit them in PS7.. But there are a good number of defaults you can load, and I think this is one of 'em.
Theres alot to this image, yet it is not too much. I like that there is some depth to this. Usually with fractals, I dont see much of that. Its nice that the viny lines separating the fractal rows are brighter. I like that contrast. Good Job.
I really like the colors, but I'm not so sure about the seed things. I gave it 10/10 just for the color though. Great job! I might check that program out...
I never thought I'd say this to a PS Fractal...but, this is really good. I never thought you could do this with PS either. Composition is good, the colors work for me, resolution is crisp and all in all I like it. I may have to start toying with that filter suite. =)
