I watched this flower explode into full bloom over a couple of days' time - the yellow juxtaposed with the rich brown of the earlier blooming (and now spent) plant made me happy.

As well it should make you happy, Terri...you've done a very nice job of capturing a sunny color on such a sunny day with NO overexposure at all that I can see and your composition is as excellent as your color presentation :)

The yellow of the flower is just breathtaking in its own simple way. It isn't blinding at all, and has a cheery nature that contrasts the fresh green behind it perfectly. Nice shot!

What a great sharp shot. I really like the diagonals coming from the rifht of the frame. Seems to put the flower out even further. Nice!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
