Must be cool in the summer time. I wonder what it's like to live in a rock like this.

Fascinating.

I can tell you exactly what it would be like for me, living here: stomach-churning! Even just looking at the picture makes my tummy lurch.

arrrhhh! I suddenly got an attack of vertigo Kostas! lol! Amazing that someone lived so high up in the rocks - it makes you wonder just how they built those houses in the first place - I guess they must have been there forever and the rock has eroded! Amazing shot my friend (into my favourites) - now just don't go hanging over the balcony! ;) Patti

ps I remember another photograph like this - the ancient greek monastery - is this the same place?

O.k. Kostas, you don't have to lie. This is your place. Not bad I guess..in a "I've been banished to the mountain cave because I can't control my urge to go to the toilet in public" sort of way. I have to say though, your interior decorator should be fired. Great shot, really beautiful....but I think you should look for a new place. Lol.

Scary and mystical. I guess they were really affraid of something or someone in the plains that they decided to go to such trouble to make those houses. It kinda reminds me of that time machine movie that came out a few years ago. Wow. I want to visit there. The things us humans do are just amazing...

Who was the crazy person that said Hey let's build a house in that hole in the rock wall. A very interesting image and good capture.

Putting your pictures in my favorites is the highest honor I can give you. If I do not get to your pictures as soon as you post them, I apologize. I try. Also if I do not respond for awhile it doesn't mean I'm ignoring you, it just means I'm really tied up with life.

Kostas, just came across this in your gallery. I have one question - WHERE is the front door???? :) This image is another reason why Greece is the first place on my life list of places to see before I go to the "other side"... Wonderful! ~Mary~

These are modern times, we have choices now. This is terrifying. If something is loose, how do you even fix it? My real question is, where are the paths or ladders out? Do they cut all the way through the cliff face to another side, is this a rear deck?
