I had to travel 700 km to learn that this man left Greece (Sammuel Howe who was the first director and loved Greece hired him to translate the greek language and then took him in the US) went to boston, became second director in Perkins Institude and founder of the first kindergarden for the blind in US.He gave his money to build schools in Greece and he dedicate his life on helping people. I wish i had 0000000,1 inch of he is passion and love he had for the people

well Kostas you travelled a long way! but you know this photo is showing a lot of passion and respect! .....and don't underestimate your own passion because I suspect it is a lot greater than you think!

...your photo focuses first on the man himself then beyond to what he represented! it's an excellent photo my friend and hey did someone give you speech - you wrote some narrative??? lol! ;)

Thanks for introducing us/me to this great man. There is so much I don't know and so little time to learn it in!

"Imperfection is beauty; madness is genius & it's better to be absolutely ridiculous than absolutely boring. And when it comes down to it, I let them think what they want. If they care enough to bother with what I do, then I'm really better than them."--Marilyn Monroe
