Marvellous sky, Tiggs and so many beautiful colours in there. I especially like how nine-tenths of the image is occupied by this incredible sky and the cloud that looks like a dog's head at the 6 o'clcock position.
There is just nothing quite as interesting to look at then when clouds form this way...I got me a book on clouds recently and its really a lot of fun to find out what they are called. I love this photo of your..the sky is filled with such fantasic colours...I could sit and look at this for a long time, and now that I am going to put it on my desktop, I can do just that..I just love how the sunset is just laying on the hills there and then going up how its all turning into the evening sky...to put us all to sleep...just wonderful..Verena
Oh my, when I saw this I immediately downloaded and placed it on my desktop for the day. The exposure is perfection. The arrangement of colors although provided by nature, has been captured to perfection by you. This is a keeper.

Sorry, Sandi!!! I love this and what I had originally said was that I'm putting it in my sky fave folder. You were certainly the lucky one when you captured this one.
Hi,my name is Rob..ok, so I'm not the greatest at replies and comments. Sorry. For anyone needing to contact me, my email is back up in my profile. >> my cluttered mess of a gallery
I absolutely love the multiple layers of small clouds, looking almost like ack-ack shells going off in an old WWII movie. The clouds are so small it's difficult to figure out which clouds belong to what layer. Plus, the light is hitting each one in a different manner and the wild array of colors and intensities makes this one look like an impressionist painter created it 150 years ago. It's incredibly alive. Beautiful capture, Sandi; this one holds up well against the monster cameras we're using today (2014). Definitely faved. -Nik
