i apologize for my delay in replying to all of your wonderful comments...i am busy working a couple of jobs and enjoying the last summer with my friends
man, taking care of 12 kids would not be a muffin basket, but it does make for an adorable picture. I love it!

Just an old "Grampa" who still has a Kodak "Box" camera kicking around the attic ... learning and enjoying the wonders of modern digital photography.
Is this ever a keeper. That water is so perfectly captured. it looks so real. The exposure of this image is spot on. And, what a PERFECT dozen. A keeper.

OK Sandi, I'm hooked by their cuteness..can't resist this beautiful family. The water is glass like with lots of ducky swirls on it. Lovely clarity and composing. Do you think Mama is looking for Daddy? Terrific image for the smile factor :^)

I'm a duckman, and this shot sends me quackers!! A dozen ducklings packed together so tightly, and in military formation frantically following their mum makes me smile.

Lifes around said the 35 millimetre cameraman. Tip of the day get ahead, and go widescreen 1440 x 900 / 1200 x 900 don't fit the monitors!!
A very pleasing photo, Sandi, and pretty clear in focus as well. The only thing I would have suggested would have made it into a pano by cropping about 15% on the top and bottom, plus a small portion on the far left. That would have placed the family off-center to the left. They are all looking to the right and, by leaving empty space to the right of them, we follow their gaze in that same direction. The empty space would allow our eyes room to travel. It's a classic composition style. Excellent photo with loads of potential. -Nik
