Several of my photos are available for purchase in larger format at Shutterpoint, and some are available in high quality framed prints at http://djholmes.imagekind.com/
Oh my Sandi, what a unique capture! I love the metallic turquoise color of dragonflies and reflections in water, but what is even more fascinating is that this little fellow has caught himself what appears to be a butterfly or moth, below him. Too cool :) I just wonder what he plans to do with him, or perhaps it's just a coincidence that he landed there. The colors, clarity, lighting, composition and framing, are all outstanding. You go girl! :)
Super Capture Sandi ! It's not a Dragonfly however. It's from the Broad Winged Damselfly Family. It's a Male "Ebony Jewelwing". Very Beautiful Indeed. These are quite hard to photogragh. Congratulations on this shot.
Well, I can't contribute to the dragonfly wars, but it looks to me like your subject has picked up the latest in moth boat models and is out for a joy ride ::LOL:: :)
